HARNESSING THE MIND-BODY CONNECTION 
5-WEEK VIRTUAL WORKSHOP

January 30-March 6 (excluding Family Day) from 6:00-7:00pm.

Week 1 Grounding: Achieve balance within your life by increasing presence and awareness to gain control of your physical, mental and emotional self.

Week 2 The Nervous System: Learn about your mind/body  connection and how your nervous system influences your thoughts and feelings.

​

Week 3 Relaxation: Learn how to harness your mind/body connection to feel more calm, safe, and in control.

​

Week 4 Feelings: Gain awareness and control of your emotional responses by learning the five steps to identifying and working with your emotions.

​

Week 5 Self-Compassion: Self-compassion is a powerful source of coping and resilience. Learn how to use this to break old patterns and let go of what's holding you back.

This workshop will be conducted over Google Meet. It is your choice whether you have your video on or off. 

STRESS WORKSHOP

This workshop can be 30 minutes or an hour depending on your organization's needs. Structured as a workshop or lunch and learn, participants will learn:

  • what stress is

  • how stress affects the body

  • how stress affects the mind

  • how to manage stress in a way that fits into your life

  • breathing techniques to calm down during stressful situations
